Researchers at Michigan State University and the Carnegie Institution for Science have published a paper in Science detailing a model that connects microscopic biology to macroscopic ecology.

Three new officers elected last year by the American Society of Naturalists—ASN—have begun their terms.Among them is Jeff Conner, professor in Michigan State University’s Department of Plant Biology and resident faculty at the W.K. Kellogg Biological Station.
