PLB Friday Seminars

The Department sponsors a seminar series during the academic year. Speakers include Michigan State University faculty, postdocs, graduate students or invited guests from around the nation.

The seminar is open to all members of the MSU community, and unless otherwise noted, takes place in person or Zoom (or both) at 2:30 PM

Kaffee Klatsch

Join us the first Friday of every month during the semester for coffee/tea and conversation.  Serving free juice, coffee/tea, pastries, and bagels.

The first Kaffee Klatsch for Spring 2026 is on February 6th — we hope to see you there!

Tea in the PLB Conservatory

Teas are hosted monthly in the Conservatory during the academic year, on the third Friday of each month. 

For the Spring 2026 Semester, join us on the following dates from 2 to 3pm:
January 16th, February 20th, March 20th, April 17th

PLB Awards and Poster Session

Our Spring 2026 Awards Ceremnoy wil be held in the MPS Atrium on April 23rd.
