PLB Friday Seminars

The Department sponsors a seminar series during the academic year. Speakers include Michigan State University faculty, postdocs, graduate students or invited guests from around the nation.

The seminar is open to all members of the MSU community, and unless otherwise noted, takes place in person or Zoom (or both) at 2:30 PM

Time: 2:30 PM on Fridays

Location: PLB 247

Zoom: Join via Zoom (no passcode required)

External Seminar Series

Kaffee Klatsch

Join us the first Friday of every month during the semester for coffee/tea and conversation. Serving free juice, coffee/tea, pastries, and bagels.

The first Kaffee Klatsch for Fall 2025 is on September 5th — we hope to see you there!

Time: 9:30-10:00 am

Location: PLB 168

Tea in the PLB Conservatory

Teas are hosted monthly during the academic year, on the third Friday of each month.

For the Fall 2025 Semester, join us on September 19th, October 17th, November 21st for tea in the Conservatory. Tea is offered from 2 until 3pm.
