Marcus Irwin
I am a Senior at Michigan State University majoring in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry. I also am an undergraduate in the Jiang Potato genetic editing lab. In the lab I am learning how to do CRISPR on potatoes. This entails polynucleotide Kinase Reactions, PCRs, Ligase reactions, and assisting the graduate students with anything they need. Outside of the lab I like to be outdoors on a river fishing, hunting, or just soaking in the sun. I also like to play basketball and video games when I can't be outdoors.
